What is the story with all these long tops? I'm so short, I feel like

they just don't work for me!

Fashion is ever-changing, and when we buy, we certainly do not want our new garments to look like our old ones! Having said that, the tops are much longer, and as the pants have narrowed, it is a more flattering look to have a longer top, remember too, that can be elongating to the figure. Smaller women can always belt the longer tops and we also hem quite a few for a more petite customer, Keep an open mind with the new trends, and at least give them a chance.

How can I cover my arms without wearing several layers?

Layering is a viable option, however, with our climate often times that can be uncomfortable. Think of some of the great options in the way of shrugs, lightweight jackets and the reinvented cardigan, a fashion staple. Remember to add these items to your existing wardrobe in some basic colors (black, navy and white) or add some excitement with color (red, plum, fuschia).

What is the story on undergarments? What works best?

Undergarments are the most important part of any women's wardrobe. Remember your panties should be seamless, which can be achieved with a variety of options and your bra should be seamless as well. We offer a wide range of camisoles and slimmers to round out any wardrobe.

Can my bra strap show?

Positively! The look of no straps showing is passé and of course, don't forget, we sell the best strapless bra around! Remember too, that the look of bra straps can actually enhance the look of some outfits.

Tell me about the shoes this season; are they all high heels?

Absolutely not! As with the clothing, there are certain trends, but they don't all need to be followed. The shoe boot is very popular right now, with sort of a heavy look and with our Florida climate, that gives a great look without being too closed in! Always popular of course, is the ballet flat, sort of a skimmer style. They are easy to wear with everything from jeans to dresses.

Are all the dresses and skirt lengths going to be short for fall?

This season's offerings are varied! With all the leggings and tights, of course short is the best choice... it's nice to be able to update an old skirt by adding a new pair of tights for a totally fresh look! The longer lengths are super with tall boots, and some of the shoe boots. Pencil skirts seem to be a staple, especially with all the longer tops! A natural complement to all figures.

Do people still carry clutch style handbags?

Positively! The clutch has made a strong comeback! Small, large, wristlets and slim, long styles are seen everywhere.

Why are all the jeans so low rise?

At Jennifer's we offer a variety of rises in jeans. Not all shapes lend themselves to a low rise jean, but remember, if you are shorter in stature, a low rise jean or pant gives you more room between your bust and the pant which actually elongates the figure. Remember too, that so many of the shirts are meant to be worn on the outside, concealing anything that we might want to hide!
