Jennifer’s women’s boutique is celebrating 35 years in business by giving back to local charities at “Fashion Forward Friday” events through April. The Heights Foundation will receive 5% of all sales from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8. Shoppers will enjoy champagne and cupcakes and will receive 15% off all dresses.
Jennifer’s will also be collecting Christmas gifts for the children of Harlem Heights. Suggestions include gifts under $25 such as Legos, art sets, sports balls, board games, coloring books and crayons. Personal items are needed including pajamas, jewelry, body lotion, spray, soaps, hair accessories and wristwatches. Gift cards are also appreciated.
The mission of The Heights Foundation is to build strong, self-sufficient families in the Harlem Heights neighborhood of Fort Myers. “The holiday season is challenging for many families in the Harlem Heights neighborhood,” said Jennifer Williams, owner of Jennifer’s. “We are happy to have the opportunity to bring joy to the children of our community.”
Representatives from Get U Cooking will be at the store from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Get U Cooking offers hands on cooking classes, private parties, and team building events for adults and children. Get U Cooking also hosts cooking parties at your home, office or clubhouse, catering and party platters.
