Jennifer’s women’s boutique is recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness month by hosting a fundraiser for Partners for Breast Cancer Care (PFBCC).

Jennifer’s will sell paper bras benefiting PFBCC from Wednesday, October 6-Saturday, October 9. Shoppers can donate any amount and PFBCC will receive 100% of the donations. Shoppers who donate $20 or more will receive a $25 gift certificate from Jennifer’s for a future purchase.

PFBCC is a local, non-profit organization that pays for breast screening, diagnostic testing, surgery, and treatment for low-income uninsured women and men of any age in Lee, Hendry, Glades, Collier and Charlotte. Clients are carefully screened for qualification and all funding stays in Southwest Florida.

“Many of our clients have nowhere else to turn for assistance,” said Janet Darnell, executive director.
“Since 2006 we have helped more than 11,000 residents and provided more than 17,000 breast care procedures at no cost to our clients. Our services fund mammograms, ultrasounds, stereotactic, ultrasound-guided, MRI guided biopsies, surgical consultations, breast MRI, excisional breast biopsy, lumpectomy, mastectomy, radiation therapy and chemotherapy.”
